Bruce-Brown Starts French GP 1912

David Bruce-Brown and his riding mechanic Tony Scudalari at speed in the 1912 French Grand Prix in their 14.3 liter S-74 Fiat. Drivers in road races during this era were started one at a time. This event was a two-day affair with Bruce-Brown leading at the end of the first day. He was disqualified during the second day for re-fueling away from the pits. There were allegations that his car had been tampered with.
