This image first appeared in support of an Indianapolis Star article on January 10, 1910. The article concerned plans by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to stage a special race meet for amateurs during the 1910 racing season. These amateur racers were primarily New York-based millionaires, the most notable of which was William K.
