Brickyard, July 1910

Indianapolis Motor Speedway's second big race after becoming the Brickyard was its July 4, 1910 holiday weekend race meeting. Like other race weekends until the first "500", the Brickyard organized numerous races instead of just one big event. This rare image artifact was captured by the original photographer at the start of a handicap race.
