Georges Boillot Medal Front Side

This is the gold medal (front side) that Georges Boillot earned for his impressive victory in the 1910 Mont Ventoux Hill Climb in France. Boillot won this event three times - in 1910, 1912 and 1913 - driving a Peugeot on every occasion. See the reverse side of the medal. Mont Ventoux has a great deal of history in various forms of sport.
