Oldfield and Moross

Two great auto racing pioneers: Ernie Moross (left) and Barney Oldfield (right). Moross was Oldfield's manager through much of his early career and helped to make the driver a household name. Ernie was also the director of contests at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from its founding in 1909 to July 1910. He founded Moross Amusement Company and managed the Fiat racing team in 1911.
