Beverly Hills Speedway

This is an aerial view of the Beverly Hills Speedway, a board track. The track was opened in 1920 and dismantled in 1924 with Cliff Durant as one of the co-owners. Numerous races were held each year, with the most during 1921 when 11 contests were conducted. Jimmy Murphy and Ralph De Palma were among the most prolific winners. The track also held motorcycle race meets.
