Seymour, "500" Veteran

This is a photo of race driver and motorcycle racer Johnny Seymour at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 1928. Seymour was a winning motorcycle racer and went on to auto racing. Seymour became a six-time starter in the Indianapolis 500, from 1928 through 1936. This photo is from the Paul Sheedy collection. Note that the car is referred to as the Marmon Special, but that was little more than sponsorship. The car was a Miller.
