Bob Burman, RIP

I thought this was a creative picture of Bob Burman's headstone. Burman was one of the most feared drivers of his era. He competed in all the major events of his time, the Indianapolis 500, the Vanderbilt Cup and the American Grand Prize. Burman set the world land speed record (141+ mph) at Ormond-Daytona Beach in 1911 as well as the mile speed record at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the day before the first Indianapolis 500. He also won the first major auto race held at the Speedway, the Prest-O-Lite Trophy held on August 19, 1909.
