Joe Boyer Wins 1924 Indy 500

This is another great perspective piece from artist David Story. This outstanding sketch captures an image of the Duesenberg that won the 1924 Indianapolis 500. This race is known as the first of two "500's" with co-winning driversLora L. Corum started the race in the car but was replaced by the team's star driver, Joe Boyer, after the latter's car failed. The other co-winners were Mauri Rose and Floyd Davis in 1941. Check out another of David's works of art featuring this Duesenberg elsewhere on First Super Speedway.
