This advertising artifact is an important record of early twentieth century mechanized technology. This a promotion for the ill-fated Twin Cities Speedway, a concrete oval with Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) founder Frank Wheeler as its president. The marriage of an airshow and race cars reflected the nascent nature of using engines to modernize individualized transportation.
