Bruce-Brown French GP 1912

I love this photo of the balaclava-clad David Bruce-Brown and his riding mechanic Tony Scudalari standing in front of their 14.3 liter S-74 Fiat just prior to the 1912 French Grand Prix. The event was a two-day affair with Bruce-Brown leading at the end of the first day. David was disqualified during the second day for re-fueling away from the pits. There were allegations that his car had been tampered with.
