George Robertson at IMS

This image artifact is derived from a photograph published in the January 22, 1910, Indianapolis News. It shows one of the top driving stars of the day, George Robertson, at the controls of one of the airplanes stored in the Aerodrome or "The Nest" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The champion driver reportedly also ran a couple of laps around the track in a touring car.

The picture supported an article about his involvement with the Parry Automobile CompanyRobertson, a New Yorker, owned or was affiliated with a sales agency that carried the Parry brand.
