Stoddard-Dayton Glenn Valley Hill Climb Advertisement

Stoddard-Dayton enjoyed good success at the Glenns Valley Hill Climb May 1906 and made the claim that although they did not win any specific event, they still out-performed other vehicles in their class. The ad claims the car set the second fastest time of the meeting, losing only to an Apperson which sold for $1250 more.

The manufacturer teamed with the Fisher-Automobile Company, a dealership in downtown Indianapolis to place this ad in the May 26, 1906, Indianapolis News. Fisher's dealership was located at 330 N. Illinois Street at the time.
