Earl Kiser Portrait

Earl Kiser was one of America's early professional auto racing drivers and a chief rival to his much more well-known contemporary, Barney Oldfield. Kiser succeeded Oldfield on Alexander Winton's Bullet II race car when Barney and Winton had a falling out. Kiser was also a colleague of Indianapolis Motor Speedway founder Carl Fisher.

This article is from the Monday, September 5, 1910 Indianapolis Star and reviews the results from the Saturday, September 3 events. There was no racing on the Sabbath. Good summary of all the races if you want to build a spreadsheet of results. Not easy to read, but patience will reward. Eddie Hearne won the Speedway Helmet race in his Benz and Howdy Wilcox won the Remy-Brassard. Both were 100-mile events.
