AAA Rules on Track Racing

This article from the November 10, 1907 Indianapolis Star reports on the direction of a special committee the American Automobile Association (AAA) established to render decisions on the future of "track racing," or auto races conducted on dirt horse tracks. There had been talk for years  simply doing away with the sport, but this article is early evidence of the more reasoned approach that prevailed - establishing safety standards for venues.
